Doula support

I have been a Doula UK recognised birth doula for eight years, offering a listening ear, a practical helping hand and a shoulder to laugh and cry on to many women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth and the first weeks as a parent.

I am proud to support new parents in all sorts of circumstances, with a range of wishes, complexities and preferences. I now take on no more than two clients every year - depending on location and timing - to ensure I can be as available as I'd like for you and allow me to focus on my other work and family commitments too.

One-off help

If you need someone to help you make a birth plan, talk through fears with you and your partner, support you as your develop coping strategies for labour or anything else along your journey to parenthood, I can help.

I offer one-off 90 minute Skype consultations or three hour in-person meetings (in London, Kent and Sussex). You’ll receive notes of our meeting and I’ll follow up with you within 30 days to see how you are getting on.

Virtual doula

Need help with birth preparation, someone to talk to about how you are feeling through pregnancy, birth and as a new parent? An experienced voice available by phone, email and text in pregnancy, through labour and the first weeks of motherhood? Access to helpful resources, signposting to professionals and much more?

I’m a huge advocate of doula support but I know that for some people it’s more realistic to invest in a lower-cost virtual doula.

You’ll have all the benefits of antenatal meetings, postnatal meetings, birth preparation, resources and more, but without the travel, the in-person support during your birth (and the ‘on call’ period) I can support you in a much more flexible, cost-effective way.
