My career so far has led me to:

  • become a social entrepreneur and (former) charity CEO delivering presentations to the Secretary of State, securing multi-year funding, growing and managing a team of staff, delivering impactful national media campaigns and overseeing a national advice service, training programme for the NHS, research programme and more

  • develop a reputation as an engaging and persuasive public speaker, delivering presentations and lecturing across the country (and internationally) from The Hay Festival to The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Feminism in London, The Royal Society of Medicine and loads of private events

  • become a journalist writing for The Guardian, The Pool, Telegraph, Stylist, Marie Claire, The Week, Vice, Broadly and more about everything from postpartum psychosis to reproductive rights, contraception, travel, underwear and mental health

  • author three books on human rights, pregnancy, birth and childbirth and speak to the national and international media (Woman’s Hour, Channel 4 News, Sky News, BBC World Service, Radio 1 and stacks of podcasts and local TV/radio) on related issues

  • work one-to-one with individuals and families as a doula

  • manage three brand reviews and consultant for ethical brands on their development
