My career so far has led me to:
become a social entrepreneur and (former) charity CEO delivering presentations to the Secretary of State, securing multi-year funding, growing and managing a team of staff, delivering impactful national media campaigns and overseeing a national advice service, training programme for the NHS, research programme and more
develop a reputation as an engaging and persuasive public speaker, delivering presentations and lecturing across the country (and internationally) from The Hay Festival to The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Feminism in London, The Royal Society of Medicine and loads of private events
become a journalist writing for The Guardian, The Pool, Telegraph, Stylist, Marie Claire, The Week, Vice, Broadly and more about everything from postpartum psychosis to reproductive rights, contraception, moisturiser, travel, underwear and mental health
author three books on human rights, pregnancy, birth and childbirth and speak to the national and international media (Woman’s Hour, Channel 4 News, Sky News, BBC World Service, Radio 1 and stacks of podcasts and local TV/radio) on related issues
work one-to-one with individuals and families as a doula
manage three brand reviews and consultant for ethical brands on their deveopment
offer expert copywriting services for forward-thinking lingerie brands through to big charities
I’m proud to be fussy about who I work with and only offer my time, contacts, energy and brain to ideas I can get behind and believe in.
